Abstract

This study is generally concerned with the methodologies, tools and techniques used in the development of Web-based applications, with regard to both the current and future trends o f the subject developers. It is especially concerned with analysing the effort applied to the use of methodologies for developing Web-based applications. The study analyses the effort applied to developing Web-based applications, and the perceived effectiveness of methodologies, techniques and tools.
