dc.description.abstractThe aim of the EIA is to identify and predict any impacts of consequence; to describe the means and extent by which they can be reduced or ameliorated; to interpret and communicate information about the impacts; and to provide an input into the decision making and planning process. The intention of this research is to do an Environmental Impact Assessment of the proposed establishment of a regional water supply scheme for the Glenamaddy area. That is, the study will try to explore mitigating circumstances, so as to protect and enhance the environment to its fullest potential.en
