Perspectives on ecotourism: examining tourism provider understandings

Abstract

This paper focusses on the area of ecotourism in Ireland, and how it can be both improved and promoted. An example of the Greenbox ecotourism initiative was given and how this came about, and the role that government can play in promoting this industry.
