Abstract
This chapter explores how the National Forum’s Professional Development Framework (PDF) has challenged and informed my
assumptions about continuing professional development, most specifically the arena of developing digital competencies. Offering a qualitative interpretation, I draw on my personal reflections and learning from participation in the L2L project using a reflective practice approach. This is based on my understanding and interpretation of the framework.Inherent in this analysis is an examination of how engaging with the framework and more specifically Domain 5: Personal and Professional Digital Capacity in Teaching and Learning, has allowed me to further develop my personal proficiency/knowledge in digital competencies thus
supporting my role in Teaching and Learning.
